When it comes to marketing your internet business, you have to do alot. Probably the easiest and laziest way to get traffic to your website is via pay per click (PPC) advertising. And write below this option is advertising on high traffic websites and blogs. But if you’re plan consists of only using paid advertising, you may put yourself into hot water.
What will you do when your main source of traffic stops producing? How will you generate sales? You will more than likely have to start all over again – and use free marketing this time instead of paid advertising. Because if paid advertising doesn’t work for you, something will have to give.
In today’s lesson, I want to reveal some traffic strategies that I think can be of immense benefit to you in your business. These tips are things that I use in my business today, and it’s something that you can use also. So lets started. Here’s the first traffic strategy that you should be using today:
1) YouTube marketing
Creating videos and submitting them to YouTube can get you a ton of traffic. To make a good video, you have a few options. You can either buy a camcorder, use a webcam, or use an on-screen recorder that is recording your actions on your computer. All 3 of these devices has their pros and cons, but in the end, it can result in a large amount of traffic for your website.
When making your video, make sure that you include your website URL at the bottom of the video. Also, be sure to list your URL in the description of your video also. This way people don’t have to type in your website address into their browser – they can just click on it via your description. Here’s another traffic strategy that you should be using:
I love blogging. It gives me the opportunity to rant and rave, and to share my personal opinion about things. Isn’t that what a blog is to be about anyway? Well I think it is, and I strive to update my blog each and every week. If you don’t know how to start a blog or where to begin, simply migrate over to a site called Blogger.
It’s a free service that allows you to get a free blog within a matter of minutes. After you have completed all the sign up information, you should customize your blog’s look and theme. Make it catchy, and make sure that your blog posts are relevant to your niche, and lengthy.
Strive for about 400 to 500 word posts and you will be good to go. After each time that you post, go to a site called “pingomatic”, and ping your blog. This will let the search engine services know that you have updated your content, and they will come to visit them and place them in their index.
These 2 techniques for getting traffic are incredibly easy to do. Be sure to start using them in your online business.
